Orbit Command for Mac OS X - Advanced |
Orbit Command 1.0 works on Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.8, both PowerPC and
Intel CPU are supported. Yes! we still support these old babies! Took me
a lot of time to do so!
Please understand version 1.0 will be the first and last version to
support 10.5.8 and PowerPC. In the next version I will switch to Mac OS X
Snow Leopard 10.6 and Intel CPU (32-bit and 64-bit) only.
To use Orbit Command, your Logitech QuickCam Orbit must be working on
your Mac properly (function normally with FaceTime, iChat/Messages, and
Skype) first. This means your Logitech QuickCam Orbit must be UVC
compatible.
Logitech makes many models of QuickCam Orbit cameras,
Logitech QuickCam Orbit/Sphere AF (should all be UVC compatible)
Logitech QuickCam Orbit/Sphere MP (USB PID 0x08CC is UVC compatible, USB PID 0x08C2 is not)
Logitech QuickCam Sphere (not compatible)
